School of Engineering and Technology at WCU Scholarship-March 1, 2017 Deadline
The WCU PPG Scholarship program will award four one-time scholarships in the amount of $2000 each to incoming freshmen with the priority given to women. Applications, including all supporting materials, must be postmarked no later than March 1, 2017. Recipients will be notified prior to May 15, 2017. All scholarships are announced in the late spring for use during the following collegiate academic year. The scholarship will be made payable to the recipient’s account upon proof of registration and major.

Standards for selection include, but are not limited to:
Senior High School Student from Western North Carolina
Intended B.S. in Engineering Technology, Applied Systems Technology Major at WCU
Character, Conduct, and Integrity
Academic Achievement and Scholastic Aptitude
Community Involvement and Extracurricular Activities
Personal Essay
Priority will be given to women pursuing an education in Engineering Technology
