Going to College?

Getting through high school is hard enough even without the added stress of college applications. Explore this site to get a better understanding of the overall college application process.

There are many things that can come with going to college such as debt, loans, and a whole lot of stress if you don't know how to understand it all. My goal is to make sure none of those things happen

Hopefully this site can help answer some of those burning questions you have about college, and help better prepare you for the transition from high school to college.

2018-19 Davidson College Advisers

About Me
DavidsonCollegeAdvisingCorpsKyleDembart_

My Story

My name is Kyle Dembart. I am the College Adviser at Chase High School working for the Davidson College Advising Corps. I graduated from Davidson College in May 2017 where I majored in Psychology, and started working for the advising corps following that.

My motivation for choosing to work with the advising corps mostly grew from my own experience of working with a college adviser when I was applying to go to college. Many of the students that the advising corps serves don't have an advocate to push them or help navigate through the college application process. Knowing first-hand what that was like, I felt that providing that same opportunity for high-schoolers could be a game-changer for their future.
